Sujie Tang, MD, MS

Hematologist/Oncologist

Dr. Sujie Tang is a board certified physician in Medical Oncology, Hematology, and Internal Medicine.

She graduated from Shandong Medical University in China. She completed her Internal Medicine residency, Chief residency and worked as a faculty attending physician in Beijing, China.  She studied in Public Health graduate program in the prestigious Peking Union Medical College before she moved to America. She completed a Master of Science graduate program in Computer and Information System in Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, IL.

After her devotion to clinical research as research assistant in Washington University at St. Louis, she completed an Internal Medicine residency program again at Texas Tech Health Science Center. After one year experience as an Internist in Dallas, Texas, she completed her fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology at University of Southern California (USC). Dr Tang is an active researcher with papers published in medical journals and poster presentations at conferences. Her research project was recognized for excellence. She was awarded The Fellow Research Award from USC. Dr. Tang worked at H. Claude Hudson Health Center in Urgent care at USC throughout her fellowship and after.

After working in Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles as Per Dim Hematologist and Oncologist, Dr. Sujie Tang works in Comprehensive Blood and Cancer Center (CBCC) as Hematologist and Oncologist for the past three years. With her excellent clinical skills, profound and updated knowledge, she provides best possible personalized patients care with heartwarming results.

Dr. Tang actively supports clinical research studies through University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) clinic trials in CBCC. She is a dedicated and enthusiastic educator. She teaches medical students, pharmaceutical students, and residents in Internal Medicine and Family Medicine at Kern Medical Center in the past three years.

Dr. Tang is an advocate for cancer patients. She actively involves in the volunteer and fundraising events for cancer research and clinical care.
